To honor William Eggleston at Aperture Foundation’s Autumn bash, we concocted a design that spoke to the photographer’s achievements in legitimizing color photography in Fine Art: CMYK color separations in configurations that looped and spoked like film stock. For a photo backdrop, palm snakes slithered across a wall of giant Bismarckias in a nod to the Deco inspired interiors of the Edison Theater.
